The North Texas GLBT Chamber of Commerce is one of the many organizations we were proud to support and sponsor. As part of our commitment to them, we donated Stickley furniture to outfit the Chamber offices at ilume on Cedar Springs. The custom pieces were just delivered last week and we're so excited to have this as one of the final legacies of Aneita Fern.

This is the final issue of the Lantern, but once again, we want to assure you that Aneita Fern will continue to live on in cyberspace. We will still be reachable at the same phone numbers and our email will still be active. We look forward to the opportunity to someday serve you again and want you to know we have enjoyed bringing joy into your lives in some small way. Once the store is closed, please visit our web site for a final walk-through of our incredibly stunning space and reflect on the architectural achievements and memories that made the store such a great place to work, shop and visit. Our architect Ann Abernathy and I will take you on the journey and we hope you'll take the time to help us say goodbye.

It's been a great pleasure and until we meet again, this is not goodbye. It's simply, Adieu for Now.
